Weekend Training and Spins

Well done to Eoin Woods who came 3rd in the intermediate category and Pat Bergin who came 1st in the Elite category of the C4SC TT Series held on the N7 between Gooig and M7 roundabout at Birdhill held over the last 5 Wed evenings.

Details of weekend Sat and Sun spins have previously been posted here .  Dont forget that there is an additional ride to Dublin on Sunday morning for those interested in cycling to the All Ireland (details also posted in the link).

There may well be lower numbers on the Sat ‘race training ride’ given that some A3 and A4 riders will be taking part in the Charleville 2 Day Race (Sat and Sun) so we wish them all luck and safe travel.   For everyone else, we are expecting a good turn out on Sun training rides before the excitement begins in front of the TV in the afternoon.

Weather for the weekend looks good.  The area of high pressure will apparently remain over the weekend with mix of cloud and sun, mild temperatures for this time of year and light winds.  Excellent cycling conditions so!
