Weekend spins
This weekend’s spins will start as usual with a 9am depart from Woodies car park for the race training spin on Saturday morning, 6th Dec. If you are planning on doing any of the club or open races next season you need to start getting to these training sessions. These are well structured spins that will help you cope when the going gets tough next season. Forecast is cloudy with highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees in moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.
On Sunday morning, 7th Dec, we have organised an “All together Women’s cycle” leaving Moynans shop at 9am. Route details: click here. This will be a great morning out on a social spin to the Obama Plaza in Moneygall where we will stop off for a coffee and a chat before returning to Nenagh. It will be a nice relaxed leisure spin with nobody getting left behind and don’t forget to bring a few euro for the coffee stop. Forecast is for it to be cold but with good spells of sunshine and a chance of showers. Highest temperatures just 3 to 6 degrees Celsius, in a fairly fresh westerly breeze.
A quick reminder of our Christmas Dinner and prize giving which takes place tomorrow week, Saturday 13th December in the Thatched Cottage, Ballycommon at 7pm. It is always a great night out giving club members a chance to mingle in much more relaxed circumstances than can normally be achieved out on the bikes… 😉 The food has always been great here and is fantastic value at only €24.95. We have spot prizes on the night and gift vouchers for our leisure cyclists so please do your best to attend. To those of you who have confirmed your attendance, we thank you very much. If you haven’t already confirmed if you will be bringing a partner or friend, can you please confirm this at your earliest convenience? Final numbers need to be in by next Tuesday 9th December so please let Jan know of your intentions by then on 087 1374354.
