Weekend spins
Weekend weather: No excuses here folks!!
Saturday:
We will have the usual race training spin on Saturday morning leaving from Woodies carpark at 9am. The route as normal will be decided on the morning.
Sunday:
Seeing as the poor weather curtailed most people’s cycling last weekend, we are going to do the route that was planned for last Sunday but didn’t happen. It’s part of the soon upcoming Kildangan Centenary Cycling Challenge route and we will leave from Moynans at 9am as usual. This weeks route (Link here) is Nenagh – Puckane – Coolbawn – Ballinderry – Borrisokane – Carraigahorig – Terryglass – Ballinderry – back to Nenagh, a total of 71km. For those who don’t feel up to the challenge of the hills on the way home there is an option to deviate and on the return to Ballinderry it’s possible to turn left, back to Borrisokane again, and return to Nenagh via the main road.
For any of our Racers heading to Laois on Sunday we wish you all the very best of luck! More details of open races on our upcoming open races page.
Have a great Easter weekend folks and be safe out there!
