Weekend Spins 13th / 14th Dec
This weekend’s spins will start as usual with a 9am depart from Woodies car park for the race training spin on Saturday morning, 13th Dec. Forecast is cold at first with max. temperatures of 5 to 9 Celsius, but values will gradually improve, in a moderate to fresh west to southwest wind. There will be good dry, bright spells, but scattered showers also.
For those who don’t want the early start, there is also the Christmas charity cycle departing from Dromineer at 11am in aid of a great cause that is the KBS Toy Appeal. See our post on the event here: KBS Toy Appeal.
On Sunday morning 14th Dec, there will be a nice spin departing Moynans at 9am and heading out the Limerick road as far as Dalys Cross where we will turn off for Newport and head back to Nenagh via Shalee and Capparoe. Route details here: NTW Sunday Spin 14th Dec. The route can be easily extended for those who wish to. Forecast is to be quite mild, with bright or sunny spells and a possibility of scattered showers. Max. 7 to 10 Celsius, in a moderate to fresh westerly wind.
Looking forward to seeing you all at the Christmas Dinner and prize giving this Saturday 13th December in the Thatched Cottage, Ballycommon at 7pm. It will, as always, be a great night!
