Road Race 5 results “The Lookout Trophy”

The race season is in full swing now and on Thursday evening we had road race no.5 in the series. This weeks route was the short but ever testing, leg burning hill climb challenge ” The Lookout Trophy” which started just outside Ballina on the Portroe side and finished outside the school in Portroe a total distance of 10km. We had 10 members out on the night and groups with group one consisting of Eva Moynan & Stuart Witts, group two had Peter Moynan, Duncan Hodgins & John Spillane who set off 2.5 minutes later, group 3 had Joey Donnelly, John O’Carroll & Nanno Vuyk with a further 1 minute to close and group 4 Liam Callaghan & Eoin Woods had 45 seconds more of a gap.

 

When the dust settled, Liam Callaghan crossed the line first yet again! Very well done Liam, you’re in super form at the minute! 🙂
