RESULT OF TWO-UP TT

For the first time in ages, we had a DRY Thursday evening and this fact was mirrored in a large sign-on, All the riders were so grateful not to be drenched before finishing! It was the second Two-Up TT and the route was the 10 ml course from Yellow Bridge to Birddhill and back. There are no handicaps or time bonuses in this race as the riders work with each other to gain a good result. When all the pairs were in, it was surprising how close the times were. Third fastest on the night were the duo of John Foote and John O’Carroll while Kevin Sherlock (fresh from his Ironman exploits) and Andy McLoughlin took second place just 7 seconds behind the winners, Liam Callaghan and Brian O’Neill. Well done to all on a very exciting race!
