RESULT OF TT6 AND OVERALL RESULT OF TT SERIES

It’s amazing the effect the weather has on club races. If it’s too wet, cold or windy only a few hardy souls turn up and if it’s too warm, sunny and dry, people have other things to do! So as last Thursday was a beautiful warm, sunny dry evening, the sign-on was low for TT6, the last in the series. The route was a 15 ml one from Rosemount, Carrigatoher to Birdhill and return. Of those who started out, two did not complete the course. Eoin Woolley punctured while Shane Scully had an disagreement with a difficult driver which sadly knocked him out of contention for an overall placing.  Tommy Hanrahan posted the fastest time of the night – an excellent 37.02 while John O’Carroll was second and Brian O’Neill third. Tommy also took third place in the race result with Aidan Killeen taking a fine second place while the winner of TT6 ( making it three wins out of six!) was John O’Carroll.
In the overall result of the flat race, Pat Bergin took the win over Tommy Harahan in second and Liam Callaghan in third. The third place in the J.Moynan TT Series went to Liam Callaghan, with Tommy Hanrahan in second while the winner was John O’Carroll. Very well done to all who took part over the six races – we had 28 in all – and very well done to the winners of the “race of truth”.

Tommy Hanrahan and John O'Carroll - fastest and stage winner.
