RESULT OF J.MOYNAN TT6

On yet another damp and windy evening, the Wheelers dealt with the last in J. Moynan TT Series which was the well tried and tested 10 mile route – Yellow Bridge to Birdhill and return. The fastest time was set by Tommy Hanrahan in a new series best of 23.22 while Liam Callaghan and John Foote tied on 24.03 and Pat Bergin was right on their wheel with 24.08. When time adjustments were made, Julie White took third place while Tommy Hanrahan claimed second and the win was taken by Selina Hynes with a great piece of riding. Selina only started racing with the first of these TTs and since then has knocked a massive four and half minutes off her first time. Well done Selina and well done to all who turned out to take part on such a miserable evening and certainly not forgetting our motor bike marshal, Mike Sheedy, who heped us once again.
