REPORT ON THE 9.5 ml ROAD RACE

At last, the report on the 9.5 ml road  race which took place on Thursday 28th June, in as usual, horrible wet weather conditions! The course was from the Birdhill roundabout to the Five Alley and in spite of the inclemency of the weather, there was once again a good sign-on. The fastest three on the night were Shane Scully, Tommy Hanrahan and Pat Rohan while the race win went to our visitor from Limerick CC, Andy Kett with Kevin Byrne taking a close second place and Shane Scully in third.

The next race is on Thursday 12th July at 6.30pm and is a hill climb from the Belleen roudabout to the top of Portroe Hill – a distance of 5.4 mls. Meeting place is Moynan’s shop.
