This weekly spin is aimed at club members who are planning to race during the 2014 season but the ride can be joined by any CI lor TI icence holder. This is a structured training session and will therefore include drills and instruction on the road.
This spin will depart from the Woodies carpark, Stream Retail Park @9am each Saturday. Average speed will be maintained at 30+kph with variable distance between 80-100+km depending on route and drills. The objective will be to publish the planned route prior to Saturday and therefore members are encouraged to review the club facebook page for spin details. Please ensure adequate provisions including spare tubes, nutrition and hydration. Group riding etiquette can be found here.
Weather permitting, this week’s route (Saturday 11th January) is the ‘Visit Nenagh’ A3 Route (63 Miles). Details can be found on this link 11_01_13.
Club Captain Liam, and Brian and Benny will guide you through on the day. If the cold weather front moves in as predicted, we may take the alternative route staying to main roads and use the route from last week – Nenagh – Roscrea – Nenagh – Birdhill (Motorway ramp) – Nenagh (110km).
There will be a quick run through before we start and more importantly we plan to stop before we get home to take your feedback – to help make future training spins better for you.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
