Cycling Ireland (CI) has launched a new online membership registration system for 2014. This registration system is now open and is applicable to both those seeking to renew their CI membership from 2013 and those seeking CI membership for the first time. Just like previous years, the CI membership applies to all club members whether you cycle with the leisure group or with the faster/racing group.
The process should take only a few minutes and will require online registration of basic profile details, selection of membership type before online payment of CI membership fee directly to CI. Your membership will then be processed by CI who will then notify the club. Once the club have received your validated CI membership, you are ready to pay your annual club membership directly to the club. Membership will again be FREE for new members joining for 2014 whilst the fee for existing and seasoned club members will depend on their cycling objectives for the year (leisure/racing) – details of which will be posted shortly.
There are a number of different types of Cycling Ireland membership designed to suit all types of rider and it would be useful to review these here prior to your CI registration.
As your existing 2013 Cycling Ireland Membership expires on December 31st, the Club would recommend that you commence the 2014 membership now to ensure that the necessary insurance is in place and that no delays are encountered in obtaining racing licences for 2014.
The Club will provide assistance to members for the CI registration if difficulties are encountered. Further queries regarding membership can be addressed to the club secretary by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
You are now ready to commence your 2014 Cycling Registration directly via this link to the Cycling Ireland website!
