Oh, hill climb races are hard – and so several riders found out tonight. In a large sign-on on a lovely calm evening, the Wheelers started at Ballinamona then headed to Dolla and up the four mile climb of Bolingbrook, finishing at the car park. Fastest times went to the racing trio of Tommy Hanarahan, Pat Bergin and Liam Callaghan, who crossed the line together while the third place in the race went to Julie White, second place to Brendan Delaney and in his first club win was John McCarthy (left). Very well done to John and to all who competed.
