Club updates

Autumn has grasped hold and we are fast tracking toward the early throws of winter with a drop in temperature, and wetter weather.  But don’t feel the need to put away your bike or to switch off.  Training and rides will continue throughout the winter and the winter training schedule has been updated here. Your plans for next years season starts now!

Dates for your diary – Note that the AGM will take place on Monday November 17th at 8pm (location tbc).  Club committee nomination forms have been sent and all members should have received these by post.  We would ask for postal nominations to be returned by November 7th.   The AGM is a great opportunity to get involved with the club or to find out more if you are an existing member of considering joining the club for the first time.  It is only through new voices and fresh thinking that we can ensure the club remains focused on and responsive to its membership.  The opinion and input from all members from all sections and groups within the club is welcome.  If you would like to like to find out more about the committee, how it works or are interesting in getting involved with the committee but are unsure, then please do not hesitate to contact any of the existing committee members or by email.

Club Christmas Dinner and prize giving – With only 64 days to Christmas, I’m simply throwing out the date for your diary – December 13th, Thatched Cottage, Ballycommon. More details to follow but we would ask members to support this event.
