Club updates and spins
Firstly, a very happy new year to you all and we hope you enjoyed the time off. Normality resumes again and it’s going to be a very busy year for the club with lots to look forward to, so we will keep you updated on this as we go along, watch this space.
Just a couple of updates for you this week.
Club Open Night
We will be hosting the second of our club open nights on Monday 22nd of January in Moynans bike shop, Nenagh from 6pm to 8pm. You will be able to pay your club membership on the night and renew your licence with Cycling Ireland. For anyone thinking of getting more into cycling this year, come in for a chat and see what our club is all about. Remember, for any new members that join the club there will be no membership fee for their first year but they will need to purchase insurance with Cycling Ireland. See you then.
During last summer, in July we had a great representation from the club at the Frank Maher memorial cycle where everyone cycled around the scenic route of Lough Derg. The funds raised were over €5,000 which is just fantastic to go towards the research in the fight against Motor Neuron disease. We want to say well done to all involved in this very worthy cause and thanks for the lovely mention for the North Tipperary Wheelers.
