Club Notes / This weeks spins

Hi all, we hope ye have all had a good week, with a mixed week of weather we hope ye have all been able to get out on the bikes.

On Tuesday we had our normal evening spin, The group headed off from Moynan’s and cycled out to Toomevara and from there the group headed on to Moneygall where they turned left and headed on to Cloughjordan and on to Borrisokane where the group once again turned left and headed for Ardcroney and from there the group cycled back to Nenagh, Very well done everybody who was out on the evening.

On last Thursday we had our Championship Hill Climb race, It was a reasonably good evening with the rain just about staying away, On the evening we had a few club members out to take part on the route which was the carpark at Clastlelough to the school in Portroe covering 3.5km. Once the racing started everybody was giving it there all and leaving every ounce they had on the road, At the end once the times were calculated it was Joesph Donnelly who took the win with Daniel Ronan taking second place and John O’Carroll completing the podium, Congrats to Joesph on the win and also to everybody else who took part on the evening and thanks to Jan and Brendan for doing the timing and to Paddy Seymour for marshalling and also to Vic for the pictures.
