We hope you all enjoyed the weekend and enjoyed the fantastic weather we had. It was lovely for a change to have warm weather out on our spins, t’was long overdue!!

Thursday evening We had a fantastic day for racing. It was a very tough 49km route over the rolling hills of Carrigahorig, Terryglass, Ballinderry, Puckane, Nenagh. A huge well done to Joseph Donnelly jnr who took a fine win on the night and a very well done to everyone who raced on the evening. Thanks as usual go to Jan for timekeeping, Conor for marshaling the junctions, thanks to Selina and Vic for the photos of the night which you can see here and here.

We had an incredible day Sunday for our club Tour of Lough Derg, we even ordered the fine weather especially for you all which led to a record turnout for our tour!
We want to take this opportunity to say a massive thanks to everyone who worked hard over the last few months to make sure the day went smoothly. Thanks our members and to all the riders from all over the country who took part. Thanks to all the organisers, helpers at the food stop, to all club members for the fantastic food they supplied, it all went down a treat! Thanks to the lead cars, broom wagon, ambulance service, bike marshals, Gardaí, photographers, the Lakeside Hotel who looked after us fantastically as usual and if we’ve forgotten anyone thank you too… There are some great photographs of the day on our Facebook page here and here

Mizen to Malin 2016 meeting

We will be having a meeting to discuss our upcoming Mizen to Malin trip on Monday evening the 23rd of May starting at 8pm in the Dapp Inn. We ask anyone who is involved in this to attend on the night as it’s important you are kept up to speed on what’s going on. See you there. There’s also a 12 week training plan based around the weekly club spins up on the website here:…/mizen-to-malin-2016/ . You’re already finished week 1 after our tour, that was easy wasn’t it? 😉

Lost club gear

One of our male club members who took part in our Tour of Lough  Derg last weekend is missing a club bib shorts and club jersey that were left in the locker rooms while at the showers after the event at the Lakeside Hotel. If there is anyone who might have seen them or could even have taken them by mistake can you please have a look and let the club know asap as we would like to get them returned. Many thanks. You can contact us on
