Club Notes

To finish off the festive season we had a group off riders head out to Marbella for some training in the sun. They had blue skies and sunshine for the 4 days and completed 2 challenging cycles in the hills around Marbella. Super stuff lads. The pressure will be on now for the others to keep up with ye!

Turbo saw good numbers on Tuesday and Thursday. Remember it’s 7pm in Ballycommon hall and we love to see new faces!

Sunday spins have also resumed – 9am at Moynans Bike Shop, Nenagh. We only had 5 members who braved the -4°C on Sunday morning. Hopefully the weather will pick up and we’ll see more faces.

We also have a new initiative beginning Saturday February 22nd at Moynans Bike Shop at 9am. It’s suitable for those who are new to group cycling or who wish to have a challenge in 2020. We will be starting with a short cycle learning how to use gears correctly and how to ride in a group and over the course of a few weeks we will progress the distance. We would love to see new faces. Any questions please contact Eva 0873530969.
A quick reminder also for those who haven’t renewed your Cycling Ireland Licences you can pay the fee to Peter in Moynans Bike Shop or to Jan.
