SUCCESS FOR EOIN AND JOHN AT THE MASTERS TT
Time Trial specialists Eoin Woods and John Foote were in tremendous form at the National Masters TT Championships which were held in Gorey, Co. Wexford last Saturday 14 th September. Completing the 24.58km course in 34 minutes and 40 seconds, Eoin claimed the Silver Medal in the Masters 40 (M40) category and also recorded the second fastest time overall, while John defended his title (which he won in Shannon in 2018) in winning the Gold Medal in the Masters 60 (M60) category with a time of 37 minutes and 49 seconds. Congratulations to both Eoin and John on their superb achievements!!
Club gear
We will be placing the order for new club gear soon, especially with winter fast approaching. The club website will very shortly be updated with the current on-hand stock (many items on 50% sale!) so keep an eye out for it to see if any item you are keen to purchase is already available.

Club spins
Club spins are continuing on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, but the distances are certainly reducing due to the fading light. The start time (6.30pm) at Moynan’s may be brought back to 6pm soon so please watch for any announcement of this on the club website and especially the whatsapp groups. Sunday spins are ongoing and very enjoyable still as the weather has been favorable.

TUESDAY / THURSDAY SPINS NOW. Hi-Viz gear is also desirable.
AGM and the annual Awards Night
The AGM for 2019 will be held on 21 st October. The venue will be announced in the next week or two. We really need to see all members turning up at this so that you can discuss all matters relating to the club, have your say in what we do and how we do it, and set the agenda for next year. A new committee for 2020 will also be elected on the night.
The Awards Night (club social) will be held on the 9 th of November, so please keep the date free and come out to enjoy what is always a great night out.

Saturday 21/09: Training spin leaving from Woodies car park, Nenagh at 9am. (check first)
Sunday 22/09: Club spins leave Moynan’s at 9am. Routes to be decided on the morning.
