Munster TT Championship 2019
NTW will host the Munster TT Championship for 2019 this coming Saturday 8 th June. This is a
prestigious event in the Munster cycling calendar, and the club is delighted and proud to host the
event for the second year in a row following on from a very successful event last year.
The 30km course is the same as last year (Birdhill roundabout to Five Alley roundabout and
return), and the 8km route for U14/U12 is also the same as for last year (Birdhill to Yellow Bridge).
All the event details and routes can be seen below. Please keep an eye on this website and our
Facebook page for further updates. Sign-on will open at The Coopers Bar, Birdhill at 9am. All club
members who are helping out at the event should make their way to The Coopers for 9am.

TT3 in the J Moynan Series was held last Thursday night over our usual route on the old Limerick
rd. Well done all for participating. There were some very good times posted and hopefully these
will translate into some silverware for our TT riders as the season progresses. Results on the night
were as follows:
Route: Roundhill Pub – Five Alley – Yellow Bridge. 16km
Group 2: Noel Kennedy, Gary Rowan, Liam Callaghan, Andy English

competitions.
There is no club racing scheduled for this Thursday 6 th June.
The next race will be RR1 in the Summer Series on 13 th June.

Saturday 08/06: Munster TT Championship at The Coopers Bar Birdhill, sign-on 9am.
Sunday 09/06: Club spins leave Moynan’s at 9am. Routes to be decided on the morning.
