Club Gear order

Hi Folks,

Your committee are very pleased to show you the almost finished design of our new club kit which we will have for the coming summer. We still have a few tweaks to make to the design but this is close to the final article and we thought you might like to see what you’ll be ordering:

Any of you who came to the fitting session in Una Powell’s seen first-hand the quality of the gear and how light and breathable the material is compared to our old kit. You will all appreciate this in the fabulous summer I’m sure we’ll get in a few months’ time when you’re under pressure climbing mountains! 😉 If you missed the fitting session see the sizing charts below. There are women’s specific jerseys and bib shorts (with a ladies specific pad and special bibs) but we need a minimum order to be able to get them so please if you want them, order now! You won’t be disappointed!!

Now… As there is very limited stock of club gear for new members, we need to get this order placed ASAP so we need you all to come back by next Sunday evening 3rd May to confirm what you would like to order. We need to reach minimum order numbers of 10 of each item to be able to order, so unless the orders come in, the ancillary items like gloves, arm/leg warmers etc. will not be ordered so please if you would like them get your order in now and don’t be disappointed after… This is really high quality gear at a very good price. We’ve included 2 levels of short sleeve jerseys, his top of the line version and a cheaper alternative if you don’t wish to pay the extra for the more breathable material. The cheaper version is not a “cheap” jersey, it is equivalent or even slightly higher quality then our old kit but we said we’d give the option of his top of the range version to those that want it. Another product in his range that you might not be familiar with is the “Hydra Waterproof Jersey”. During the 2013 edition of Milan-San Remo, the weather was horrendous. Many of the pro peloton could be seen wearing a black jersey to fend off the foul conditions. That jersey was the original Castelli Gabba. If a pro rider is willing to be fined for wearing a piece of kit not supplied by a sponsor and which is in breach of UCI regulations, we can infer that it must be seriously good. The “Hydra” is the Velo Revolution custom version of that garment and is available in short or long sleeve versions.

To order, just fill in the quantity of the items you would like to order on the form below and it will show you the required deposit(50%) which is due straight away with the remainder falling due just before delivery in about 8 weeks.

You can download the spreadsheet to view/edit on your computer by clicking on the download link above. If you don’t have excel to edit, you can just view it here on the page and just email/text/phone your order to Owen at ohynes@gmail.com / 087 0523275. All we need is the type of garment you want (we’ve included the unique 5 digit order number for each item), the quantity and sizes you require.

To get in your deposit, just drop it in to Jan or hand it in to Peter in Moynan’s Bike shop or alternatively give it to any of the committee and it will get in to the club. If you’ve ordered something that doesn’t meet minimum orders we’ll let you know early next week once everyone comes back.
