Another win for John McCarthy

On a sunny yet breezy evening, 14 riders signed on for the 5th Road Race of the season which was a 16km race from Kilkeary to Lisboney via Toomevara. With a wind on our back as we warmed up out to Toomevara, we knew that the road back in to the finish would be a tough one and that team work would play an important part of this race. In the end it was the in form John McCarthy who crossed the line first, followed closely by Gary Rowan, who has reportedly been sneaky training at the Limerick League on Tuesday nights, and Duncan Hodgins in third.
